Brian and Annette Jolivette, the visionary founders of Above All Sports, have been orchestrating exhilarating basketball tournaments in Houston since 2003. From humble beginnings of hosting one event with ten teams, our organization has flourished, now overseeing twelve events featuring over 1000 teams. Excitingly, we expanded our reach to include Lafayette, Shreveport, and Gonzales Louisiana.
In August 2020, we formed an equal partnership with Houston-based entrepreneur Ronnie Martin, who brings valuable expertise as a co-owner and operator alongside Brian and Annette.
Brian’s journey into Houston Summer Basketball, catalyzed by his neighbor Hal Pastner, resulted in the formation of highly competitive Houston Hoops boys and
girls teams.
Under his guidance and leadership, this team of 12 young men and 11 young ladies achieved Division I basketball success.
Brian recently retired from a remarkable 36-year career in Oil & Gas Software development, serving customers worldwide.
Ronnie Martin, the CEO and President of MRM Consulting Services, excels in offering proposal solution services that ensure compliancy with Request for Proposals.
Armed with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Technology Organizational Management, he brings 36 years of expertise in managing and developing proposals for both government and commercial contracts.
Above All Sports operates as a certified 501c3 non-profit organization, embodying the commitment of Brian, Annette, and Ronnie to youth basketball development.
